WAFW Open Forum 2: Speaking Up

The Open Forum of Module 2 of 2019-20 batch of World Academy for the Future of Women titled “Speaking Up”was held on 26 December 2019 at 3 pm in the Seminar Room, Campus B. The forums are arranged and conducted by the academy members. In this Open Forum, three successful women were invited to share their experience of being women leaders. The speakers were Farzeen K. Chowdhury, Director of Paper Studio,  Tahsina Banu, Former Senior Banker of HSBC Bangladesh and Anita Ghazi Rahman, Advocate of Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The speakers shared their struggles and success stories of their career. The session was moderated by Nusrat Jahan, Member of Leadership Team WAFW (2019-20) under the supervision of Bridget E. Kelly, Facilitator of Module 2. Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees welcomed the speakers of the public forum on behalf of the World Academy for the Future of Women. The session ended with a lively question answer session from the academy members who also shared their fears, thoughts and dreams with the forum speakers.
