The Orientation of WAFW Batch 2019-20 and Mothers’ Reception Held

The Orientation and Mothers’ Reception of Batch 2019-20 was held on 2 November 2019. Ms. Ameenah Ahmed, member, ULAB Board of Trustees was present as the chief guest and Ms. Taheerah Haq, member of ULAB Board of Trustees was present as the special guest of the program. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of ULAB, Professor Shamsad Mortuza and Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the BoT were also present in the event. Jerrie Ueberle, the founder of World Academy for the Future of Women introduced the activities of the academy to the parents and new members of the academy while Ms. Alanna levenson, the Module 1 facilitator gave an overview of all the modules and projects. The oath and the anthem of WAFW were presented by the alumni of WAFW Batch 2018-19. The orientation program was followed by introduction of the parents and new members of the academy. The event ended with a musical performance by the family members of some of the world academy members.
